Nationally Accredited Breathing Apparatus Training
It is expected that all persons achieving this Breathing Apparatus Training course will be competent to wear breathing apparatus because they are working:
- in a confined space (must also h.ave current Confined Space Training and valid permit to enter)
- with hazardous gases/vapours/dusts
- in an oxygen deficient atmosphere
- in any other situation requiring the wearing of breathing apparatus.
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
New legislation states that for ALL Nationally Accredited training courses a USI MUST be provided, regardless of the length of training.

Breathing Apparatus Users should ensure they are medically fit to undertake training as per Australian Standard 1715:1994 and clean shaven.
